Flintec UK Has Moved To A Newly Developed Property In Cardiff

Flintec UK has moved to a new, larger, facility following the purchase of Caxton House in Cardiff.

Caxton House is a 26,000ft² property comprising two detached buildings on a 2 ½ acre site. Following its purchase in March 2020, the property has undergone a multimillion-pound renovation to create a modern and collaborative workspace for our sales and product design teams.

Our UK sales team service customers in the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Greece and Portugal. Caxton House allows for greater product stocks to be held for immediate shipping. Flintec’s ability to hold a stock of key products during the pandemic was invaluable for new and old customers alike, many of whom were classed as essential businesses.

Alongside sales, Flintec UK is a central engineering hub for the Flintec Group, with many of our specialist engineers and project managers based at the facility. Over the past years, our engineering capabilities have grown considerably as global demand for our products and services has increased. Our new UK facility will allow us to meet these increased demands alongside state-of-the-art facilities and equipment.

Sustainability is key to Flintec’s business model, with investment into our facilities and people being central to our plans for the future. Over the coming months further investment will be made into our manufacturing capabilities in Sri Lanka, with work beginning on a new, purpose built, facility for the design and manufacture of strain gauge technologies.
